Rob has significant experience throughout his career advising on all aspects of Australian privacy and cybersecurity laws. He is considered by his clients as the "privacy lawyer to privacy lawyers", having grappled with bleeding edge privacy and cyber security issues for a wide variety of large corporations including global "mega" technology companies, energy, utilities and major health funds particularly clients with a large customer base and number of employees.
Rob regularly advises on the requirements of Commonwealth and state privacy laws, designs and leads organisational privacy reviews, and has lead the response and coordinated regional input for a number of large scale multi-national data breaches.

Currently the GM of Merchant Acquiring, Kian established Novatti as a payment facilitator and Merchant Acquirer in Australia and New Zealand. He is also the founder and patent holder of Novatti's payXcrypto, a crypto payment gateway that enables wallet holders to pay seamlessly for goods and services
